Journal of Community and Applied Social Psychology: Special issue call for papers

The Journal of Community and Applied Social Psychology is proposing a special
issue concerned with ageing and community. The rapidly rising proportion of
older adults in countries around the world has become one of the key societal
issues of the early 21st century. While discussions on that issue have often
focused on issues of dependency and economic burden that accompany this
new demographic reality, not enough has been said about the possibilities
which ageing brings for local communities around the world.

Dear Friends and Colleagues

Applications for the Master of Arts in Community-Based Counselling Psychology (MACC) Programme at Wits are open and I would like to request that you consider distributing this mail to students and potential applicants who may be interested in applying for a programme of this nature. The attached poster provides a brief synopsis of the programme and the selection dates, but prospective applicants are also encouraged to peruse the MACC website at the link below:

For those of you at other institutions who may run similar programmes, we are of course very happy to reciprocate and to distribute similar emails from your departments to our students and to place posters on our notice boards.

Please feel free to distribute as widely as possible.

Many thanks in advance.

Best,
