South African Sociological Association (SASA) Conference - 30 June to 3 July 2013

As convener for the Lesbian,
Gay and Queer Studies-working group of the South African
Sociological Association (SASA), it is my pleasure to inform you of this year's
annual SASA-conference to by hosted by the Department of Sociology at Unisa, Sunnyside Campus, from
Sunday 30 June to Wednesday 3 July 2013. You are invited to submit abstracts for
these particular sessions, during which we will discuss challenges faced by
sexual minorities in South African society and internationally.

The Southern African
Students’ Psychology Conference is hosted by the psychology departments of the University of South Africa and
the University of the Witwatersrand. Students and staff from psychology
departments across Southern Africa are invited to join us in this venture. The
conference will take place from the 24 – 28 June 2013 at Wits. Pre-conference
workshops will be scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, 24 & 25 June 2013.
Students and their
academic mentors who are interested in attending and/or presenting at the
conference are requested to submit a title and an abstract of not more than 300
words on the conference website before 29 March 2013.

Society for Community Research and Action: 2013 Biennial Conference, Miami, Florida, USA
The 2013 Society for Community Research and Action biennial conference will take place on Wednesday, June 26th - Saturday, June 29th, in Miami, Florida USA. Preconference workshops and activities will begin in the morning on Wednesday June 26th and the conference opening reception will be held that evening.
As with past biennials, proposal submission and review will be handled through All Academic, Inc.
