Conference Call ENRGHI

Calling all early career researchers in health or health care within a
social, geographical or environmental context...

On behalf of the Conference Organising Committee, I would like to inform
you of the:

16th Annual Conference of Emerging and New Research in Geographies of
Health and Impairment(ENRGHI)

10th-11th September 2012, University College London (with Queen Mary,
University of London), UK.

ENRGHI is a conference run for and by post graduate and early career
researchers.  We are a supportive peer group with a shared interest in
geographies of health and our conference offers a positive environment in
which to both present and get feedback.  Although a geography group, we
welcome abstracts from researchers in all disciplines who are involved in
research in health or health care within a social, geographical or
environmental context.  Submissions may be based on Masters dissertations,
literature reviews, work-in-progress or completed research projects.

Abstract submissions of 250 WORDS for 10 minute oral presentations should
be sent to enrghi2012@gmail.com by FRIDAY 25th MAY 5pm GMT.

Broad themes for presentation include, but are not limited to, the
following:

   Healthcare delivery
   Health inequalities, Environmental justice, Equity
   Rural health
   Health in the city
   Health across the life course
   HIV/AIDS research
   Mental health, disability and stigma
   Substance Use and Misuse
   Obesity
   Migration and Health
   Health and Spatial analysis
   Health and Health care in Developing World
